Newspaper Article Writing Style
How do you write a newspaper article? Help!?
I’ve just been added to our high school newspaper team. My first task is to cover a story on a celeb that came to our school recently. I have seriously no clue what the usual “newspaper” style of writing and format and stuff is like, so if anyone could give ideas that would be really good.
Like, do I write something like,
“XX, hailing from XX, came to visit our school recently”
or like “In the past week, much fanfare was created when XX came….”
Like seriously, NO CLUE how to write at all, so i reallyyyy really would appreciate your help (Like if i screw up, the whole sch reads it). Thanks so much!
How about doing something along the lines of,
A celeberty came to our school to give students a treat on x day.
The name of the person came and inspired so and so.
